Please join us in congratulating Adriana Fontaine, Executive Operations Associate, on being named SkyWater Search Partners Employee of the Quarter.
When we think about those who have served and given their lives, we’re reflecting on a level of dedication that went far beyond obligation, a commitment to something bigger than themselves. It guided their choices, regardless of the potential for recognition, individual gain or devastating personal loss. At its core, this day gives us an opportunity to reflect on what we can learn from those who have shown us the very best of what it means to truly place the good of all above the benefit to self.
As an executive search firm rooted in long-term partnerships and thoughtful hiring, SkyWater Search Partners understands that small actions can lead to big results. This Earth Day, we're turning our focus to sustainability, not just for the planet, but as a business mindset.
This month, SkyWater Search Partners celebrated our tenth annual “Walk a Mile for a Smile” event in support of Smile Network International, one of our favorite international charitable organizations.
For ten years, SkyWater Search Partners has been dedicated to supporting the communities where we work and live. That core value led to the creation of our Employee of the Quarter award. Each quarter, we honor a top-performing team member with a financial donation, in their name, to a nonprofit organization of their choosing. We are delighted that this quarter’s winner chose to highlight the extraordinary work of the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
At SkyWater Search Partners, we believe that vibrant communities are built through strong community partnerships. One way we live by that value is through our Employee of the Quarter Award. Each quarter, we honor a top-performing team member with the gift of a substantial financial donation, in their name, to a nonprofit organization that is important to them.
For many of us, the very idea of protecting our earth can trigger feelings of worry, anxiety, and even helplessness. After all, our best household-level efforts to Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle can seem piddling, given the current pace of climate change. But recently, in an effort to understand what more we mere mortals can do, I took a closer look at the Citizen Science movement. I was blown away by what I found.
To be honest, when I started writing this April’s SkyWater blog in honor of Earth Day, I wasn’t planning to talk about recruiting. Every April, we write an Earth Day blog, and this year, I’d been inspired by an MPR podcast hosted by Angela Davis, about the growing landfill crisis in the Twin Cities. Here in the metro area, we produce 3.3 tons of trash each year, roughly one ton per Twin Cities family – so much waste that our local landfills have become overwhelmed.
At SkyWater Search Partners, we believe that one of our greatest strengths is our commitment to our community and how actively our team members engage with the many different communities they call their own. Each quarter, we honor a top-performing SkyWater employee with a substantial financial gift in their name, to a nonprofit community organization that is near and dear to them. This quarter, we are very proud to say...
