Achieve Minneapolis is a non-profit organization in Minneapolis, MN that works with local employers to hire internships at both the high school and college level. For 20 years, their mission has been to foster career and college readiness for every student.
High School Internship candidates
The Step Up program through Achieve Minneapolis and the City of Minneapolis is for high school students. Each year, Step Up trains and places hundreds of Minneapolis high school youth in paid internships and other career opportunities with over 200 Twin Cities employers.

College-level Internship candidates
The Achieve College internship program is for college students. This newer internship program - which was created with the expertise Achieve Mpls gained through 20 years of managing Ste Up - connects college juniors with outstanding professional experiences, mentors, and networks in the Twin Cities that help launch their careers.

More than 200 employers in approximately 15 industries partner with Achieve Minneapolis each year. These employers:
- Are able to employ youth.
- Are willing to pay interns according to industry standards.
- Are accessible by public transportation.
