How will you help forge equality in the workplace?

Today, in celebration of international women's day, we would like to pause to recognize the strong and successful women at SkyWater Search Partners. Thank you for being you. Thank you for helping to shape our organization into what it is today, and what it will become.

It is a shockingly short time ago that so many industries, including recruiting, were so heavily male-dominated. This history has lead to bias in inequality in the workplace that so many of us often don't recognize anymore. Some of us may even see these bias' playing out at work, and sit quietly, not wanting to get involved or speak up. 

The 2021 International Women's Day theme is #ChooseToChallenge. We are being encouraged to challenge bias in the workplace, or wherever seen. We are being challenged to recognize bias and inequality where we may not have recognized it before. We are also being challenged to speak up. 

As stated by the IWD organization, "We can all choose to challenge and call out gender bias and inequality. We can all choose to seek out and celebrate women's achievements. Collectively, we can all help create an inclusive world."

This theme is all about forging equality in the workplace. You can show your support today by researching this year's theme and participating on social media, but you can show your support beyond by recognizing, and challenging the bias' you encounter. Strive to make your organization a great place to work yourself and all of your teammates.
