Fathers Day Working Dad Resume

Happy Father's Day!

Being a parent stretches us all to find talents we never knew we had. These are valuable skills that are often overlooked and underappreciated. We polled the SkyWater dads to see what job titles and skills need to be added to their credentials on this very special fathers Day.

Here's what they had to share...

Few job titles the SkyWater dads are adding to their resumes this year...

Kurt Rakos

Banker, Counselor, Transportation, and Logistics Specialist (BCTLS)

  • Soccer team support
  • Boyfriend vetting
  • Career counseling

Corey Fitzgerald

Random Baby-Sound Impressionist

  • Coo's
  • Gurbles
  • Fribbens

Brian Rudolph

Chief Negotiating Officer (CNO)

  • 3-year-old division specialty
  • Includes transportation & logistics
  • After school and sports experience

Zach Hinkemeyer

Sleep Doula

"After becoming a parent, I learned that I apparently missed my calling as a sleep doula! I would share my secrets if I knew what the secret to it actually was!"

Alex Bowes

Dinner time entertainer
  • Baylor loves music and singing and when she’s happy she’s a better eater.
Diaper Laundry Attendant
  • The cloth diaper system is running with ease, sorry not taking new clients currently.

Luke Radziej

Lead Technician – Toy Battery Changing Services

  • Sometimes they require batteries only I can find in the junk drawer, sometimes they require small screwdrivers that again, only I can find in the junk drawer.  My expertise also means I’m the most knowledgeable about inventory management and re-order points.

Fruit Ninja – Knife and Produce Specialist

  • My experience has led me to optimize the cut size and knife efficiency for preparing fruits and vegetables for consumption by mouths more prone to choking hazards.  This is important because my clients generally have a lack of chewing/swallowing experience and their mouths are smaller than a typical adult mouth is, which may also be factored by changing dental statuses.

Zac Kallas

Sr. Director of Tickling & Twirling

Author's note: I like to imagine that all the stuff we do for our kids; they're gonna do for us when we're old and senile, and I tease them about that all the time... Zac: I love imagining that your kids will become Sr. Directors of Tickling & Twirling at your old folks home when you're 104. You're also going to look great in your ballerina dress.

What belongs on your resume, Dad?

We want to hear from you. Tell us about your new credentials since becoming a parent by leaving a comment on our LinkedIn post!
