At SkyWater Search Partners, excellence is driven by people who combine talent with heart. We are proud to recognize Zach Hinkemeyer, Senior Associate on our Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain team, as our Employee of the Quarter.
Zach recently celebrated three years at SkyWater, and his impact on both clients and colleagues has been substantial.
“I couldn’t be happier or more proud of the place I work,” Zach shared. “The people at SkyWater are so incredibly talented and caring and gifted at what they do. And SkyWater as a whole really walks the walk with whatever it is that we try to do.”
A Culture That Walks the Walk
Recognition at SkyWater carries a deeper meaning because it reflects peer nominations. Being selected by colleagues, especially within a team known for its high standards and collaborative spirit, makes the honor even more significant.
Zach emphasized how meaningful it is to work alongside professionals who are not only experts in their fields but who genuinely care about one another and the communities they serve.
Giving Back to the Community
Each Employee of the Quarter selects a charity to receive a donation from SkyWater on their behalf. Zach chose to direct his donation to the Burnsville Food Shelf, operated by 360 Communities.
360 Communities supports local families through food shelves and other essential services in Dakota County.
Zach’s connection to the cause is personal. A family member volunteers at the Burnsville Food Shelf, and Zach himself has volunteered at food shelves in the past, helping deliver food supplies to families in need.
“I can’t think of a more meaningful way to give back to our local community than through a food shelf,” Zach said. “Easing the burden for families who are forced to choose between buying food or paying rent is more impactful than most of us can imagine.”
Food Insecurity in Minnesota
Food insecurity remains a serious challenge across the state. According to Hunger Solutions Minnesota, more than 1 in 10 Minnesota households experience food insecurity in a given year. That means thousands of families face uncertainty about where their next meal will come from.
Local food shelves play a critical role in bridging that gap. Donations directly support neighbors who are navigating rising costs for housing, groceries, and essential needs.

Celebrating Leadership That Matters
Zach’s recognition as Employee of the Quarter reflects more than performance. It highlights leadership, character, and a commitment to community.
We are grateful for Zach’s dedication to our clients, our team, and our broader Minnesota community. Congratulations, Zach, and thank you for representing the very best of SkyWater.
