The Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal announced their [2022 Best Place To Work award recipients](https://www.bizjournals.com/twincities/news/2022/06/07/best-places-to-work-2022-small.html?b=1654613752%5E22092637), and we were again fortunate enough to win the award! This is the seventh time we have been recognized with this honor, and it's not one we take lightly. 

 The MSP Biz Journal Best Place to Work award is the oldest Best Place to Work award in the Twin Cities. Companies are chosen using scores from an online and confidential employee survey. Some example survey statements, of which employees can rank on a scale from strongly agree to strongly disagree include:

- I am happy with my job.
- Goals are clear to everyone on my team.
- I believe this organization will be successful in the future.
- My manager cares about my development.
- The senior leaders of the organization demonstrate integrity.

#### What this means to us

Being nominated as a Best Place to Work during The Great Resignation is **one of the most meaningful awards we’ve ever won at SkyWater**. With nearly half of Americans looking to change jobs in 2022 due to a lack of job satisfaction, we feel incredibly lucky to have such an engaged team and vibrant culture here at SkyWater.

 

While we believe that our reputation within the executive search space and award-winning culture allows us to attract and retain some of the top performers in the industry, we recognize that a great culture is a fragile thing that can change with one bad hire, one unethical business decision, etc. That fragility is something we’ve never underestimated here at SkyWater, and it guides every single hiring decision, policy, and business strategy that we pursue.
